Leigh Taylor

PGA MASTER PROFESSIONAL • PGA QUARTER CENTURY & LIFE MEMBER

All serious golfers want distance and accuracy, which are results of proper swing techniques and proper timing. Just showing the golfer their swing flaw(s) via a video system and talking about the corrections are not enough. The golfer must feel the new muscle movement in order to better understand what it takes to create a better golf swing, which will provide desired results. The Straight Arm is one of my favorite golf training aids because the golfer can hit golf balls whether it be short game shots or full swings and the best of all, it gives immediate physical feedback! I believe strongly in this effective training aid, which works by getting the golfer to “Feel” the swing change that is necessary to achieve success.

The Straight Arm training/teaching aid does exactly what it claims. Junior students and adults will both benefit. I have both sizes to accommodate all size golfers. Just slip it on and you have automatically fixed a problem: the bent lead arm! Just look at SAM SNEAD and BEN HOGAN, you will see NO bent left arm! This allows for the explosive karate chop of the lead arm.

I first met Gary a little over a year ago and he introduced me to his Straight Arm training aid. The beauty of using the Straight Arm is that you get instant feedback that you can actually feel. After having incorporated the use of the Straight Arm into my practice routine I was able to immediately see the difference in my swing. Video replay would show my left arm from hip to hip remaining straight and turning over my right arm following impact. After only several months of use the one thing I didn’t have to think about any more was whether or not my left arm would remain straight throughout my swing. This gives me a solid foundation and allows me to focus on other areas of my swing. Thanks, Gary!
